Photos of the Beaty Biodiversity Opening Weekend

I'm not going to lie, I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of British Columbia's newest museum, the Beaty Biodiversity Museum since I heard about it several months ago! Finally, I got the chance to check it out during its opening weekend, October 16 - 17, 2010! This spectacular museum tackles the subject of biodiversity, opening up the University of British Columbia's vast collections ranging from fossils to plants, to animals and its main attraction, the 84 foot long Blue Whale skeleton (fun fact, the skeleton is the only one in the World on display with its mouth open and its the biggest in Canada!). Visit the Museum Wednesdays to Saturdays at Vancouver's UBC Campus!
