2011 Brant Wildlife Festival

Experience the return of the Brant Geese as they stop along their migratory journey between California and Mexico to the Arctic. Upwards to 20,000 of these distinctive black and white Geese stop along the shores between Parksville and Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island as they rest and feed on Pacific herring spawn along seabirds, sea lions, seals, salmon, eagles and gulls. Celebrating this annual event from March 5 - April 26, 2011, the 21st Brant Wildlife Festival celebrates this spectacular event with guided tours, bird watching, tree planing, activities for kids and more!
