Dam Mountain Loop Snowshoe Trail

Grouse Mountain offers many winter activities for all ages and interests - one of the best being snowshoeing. The mountain offers four snowshoe trails, Blue Grouse Loop, Whistler Water Way, Dam Mountain Loop and Discovery Loop. Dam Mountain Loop, one of the shortest, is also rated difficult for its steep trail, however, the loop also offers some of the region's most spectacular views including points of interest such as Grouse Mountain resort and the Eye of the Wind, on clear days views of the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Washington State, the Cascade Mountain range and the Lions (also known as the Twin Sisters) which can be seen from Downtown Vancouver.

  • POINTS OF INTEREST: From the top of Dam Mountain the lookout offers a partial 360 degree views of Grouse Mountain resort, the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Washington State south, the Lions peaks to the west and the Cascade mountain range to the east and north.
