Geminid Meteor Shower in Vancouver

December's Geminid Meteor Shower is expected to be the best meteor shower displays of the year which will peak the evening of December 13, 2010 to dawn of December 14, 2010. Best viewed from midnight to dawn, there are many locations across the Lower Mainland to view this annual astrological event which can reach up to fifty meteors per hour at its peak at 2:00am. The Geminid Meteor Shower will be visible across the night sky, however the meteor shower's radiant (point of origin as seen by observers) will appear to be in the east and will move overhead.
