2011 International Day for Biological Diversity Vancouver and Region

Celebrate International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) on May 22, created to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues. In 2011, the theme is Forest Biodiversity. BC's vast forests encompass a wide range of ecosystems, flora and fauna spanning hundreds of square kilometres. From the temperate rain forests of the West Coast to the conifer forests of the alpine, celebrate British Columbia's Forest Biodiversity!
