2012 May Day Festivals in Greater Vancouver

Celebrate May Day, an ancient spring festival which includes traditions such as may pole dancing, food, women and girls dressed in white, entertainment, parades and the crowing of a May Queen. Celebrated in British Columbia for over 140 years, May Day festivities continue to be popular in Port Coquitlam, Delta and Langley with a wide variety of activities to enjoy! • ROTARY MAY DAY PARADE | May 12, 2012 | 11:00am | Starts: Shaughnessy Street at Welcher Avenue; Ends: Hawthone Avenue at Tyler Street, Port Coqutilam (route map) | Free | Enjoy one of the longest running community parades in the Lower Mainland, the Rotary May Day Parade, as it makes its way through Port Coquitlam with floats, bands, community groups and more! | Website
