Snowshoeing Grouse Mountain

Winter brings cold temperatures, shorter daylight hours and plenty of snow to British Columbia and with it, many fun winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, sledding and snowshoeing. Snowshoeing is a fun, low impact activity perfect for all ages and ability levels - requiring users to only own (or rent) a pair of snowshoes which have evolved over the years from the bulky, racquet-like wooden snowshoes to the metal and modern ones of today. The Lower Mainland offers snowshoeing atop its three mountains, Mount Seymour, Cypress Mountain and Grouse Mountain - here are some photos from our snowshoeing adventure on the 1km Blue Grouse Loop trail atop Grouse Mountain.
