2011 Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival

Celebrate Vancouver's most spectacular seasonal event, the blooming of its 37,000 Cherry trees during the 2011 Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival on March 26 - April 22, 2011. The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival offers a wide range of events including Cherry Jam Downtown, the Sakura Days Japan Fair, tree talks and walks, painting workshops, musical performances, a haiku contest, Bike the Blossoms and many more! Blossom enthusiasts can also walk through the city's blossoms hot spots and experience the beauty of the blossoms in parks, along roadways and other locales. 2011 is also Vancouver's 125th birthday so be sure to purchase your own Birthday Blossoms to celebrate the occasion!

Celebrate Vancouver's spectacular Cherry Blossoms during the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival on March 26 - April 22, 2011.Spring is upon Vancouver and with the change of the season, the city's spectacular array of 37,000 Cherry trees will soon begin to bloom. In celebration of Vancouver 125, the City of Vancouver and the Cherry Blossom Festival have joined together to present Birthday Blossoms, a heritage initiative to plant 3,000 more Cherry Trees throughout Vancouver to add to its existing 37,000 trees. Each tree costs $40 and can be purchased online and picked up at one of five locations (link) on April 2-3, 2011.
