From August 26th to 29th, 2010, Granville Island on the edge of False Creek hosted the 23rd Vancouver Wooden Boat Festival which offered over a dozen wooden boats for festival-goers to enjoy and explore ranging from large to small and from paddle-powered to steam-powered to motorized! These beautifully restored boats and exhibits along the walkways above provided a great opportunity to learn about wooden boats and Vancouver's Maritime history!
