Whistler Water Way Snowshoe Trail

  • LOCATION: Grouse Mountain: 6400 Nancy Greene Way, North Vancouver (map)
  • DISTANCE: 2.5 Kilometres
  • TIME: Allow 2 hours
  • POINTS OF INTEREST: From the Grouse Mountain Gondola, snowshoers can see points of interest such as the Bear Den (where Grouse Mountain's resident Grizzlies are hibernating), a panoramic view of West Vancouver, English Bay and Vancouver Island and views of the Eye of the Wind.
  • OTHER INFORMATION: Whistler Water Way snowshoe trail for the most part is wide, however, section can be steep - snowshoers should have a drink, snacks, warm clothing, sunscreen and sunglasses. Never go out of bounds as the region is prone to avalanches and changes in weather.
