Located at the Northern edge of the municipality of Whistler, British Columbia is Green Lake, the largest in the region.
Named for its spectacular blue-green colour in the summer months, the lake is edged by rocky beaches, forests, palatial homes and cabins and overlooks Blackcomb Mountain, one of the two locally accessible mountains in Whistler.
Accessible alongside the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) or along any of the smaller roads alongside it, visitors can enjoy Green Lake throughout the year. Summer brings water sport enthusiasts who enjoy swimming, boating, water skiing and even fishing. Winter sees snowshoers making their way around the lake enjoying its peaceful atmosphere.
