The canoes in the Great Hall of the Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre are carved from Cedar and this one also is adorned with a black bear pelt - an animal native to the region.

Visitors to the Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre can enjoy the traditional craftsmanship of the cedar canoes - most of which are carved from a single tree. This particular canoe also is adorned with a black bear skin - a species which is native to the region.
