Beaver Lodge at Beaver Lake, Stanley Park

Image from Beaver Lake activity in Things to do in Stanley Park

Beaver Lake is home to one beaver who takes up residence in a Beaver Lodge built to keep itself safe which sits in the middle of the Lake in Stanley Park, a popular sight for visitors to Canada vying to see one of the nation's most popular species.

Beaver Lake is named for the animals that used to live in the Park's boundaries, however, with mismanagement and overkilling, these species were wiped out and only returned when the Beavers themselves made it onto the shores of the Park and repopulated Beaver Lake and the Lost Lagoon.
