The Festival of Lights sees almost the entire park at VanDusen Gardens lit up to celebrate winter in Vancouver. With the mild climate and sometimes snowy winters, the park is a beautiful place with Christmas shows, carollers, displays and snacks. The edges of the park showcase some of the interesting tree species found in the park such as the stand of these Paper Birch.
