Boat Restoration Building at Britannia Heritage Shipyard, Steveston

The buildings found within Britannia Heritage Park are a place for boat enthusiasts to help restore old ships and to preserve the foundation of the village's fishing industry.

Operated by the Britannia Heritage Shipyard Society, the purpose of this group is to collect artifacts and funds to restore and preserve boats important to Steveston's history. The dozens of buildings offer a dry dock for volunteers to help fix up boats in disrepair and show visitors elements which made Steveston the famed canning and fishing it was.
