250 Year Old Trees at the Brohm Lake Interpretive Forest, Sea to Sky Highway

Image from Brohm Lake Interpretive Forest activity in Things to do along the Sea to Sky Highway

The Brohm Lake Interpretive Forest was a prime logging site in the 1950s which stripped the land aside from a few pockets of older trees.

Along the Brohm Lake Trail hikers will come across a signpost on the western edge of the lake in a small section of large tree which reads: "This small ares of old growth coniferous trees remained after much of the local area was logged in the 1950's. Some of these trees are over 250 years old."
