Visitors flock to Maplewood Conservation Area especially in Spring and Fall to see the multitude of birds migrating along its shores, meadows, mudflats and forests. The Wild Bird Trust of B.C. which is set up at the entrance to the Park also has several bird feeders attracting species such as the Chickadee.
