Deer in the Woods at Maplewood Conservation Area, North Vancouver

Image from Maplewood Conservation Area activity in Things to do in North Vancouver

Several animals call the Conservation Area and mudflats home such as black tailed deer which can be spotted in the forest.

Black Tailed Deer are common throughout most of British Columbia. The Maplewood Conservation Area resting on the edge of North Vancouver is no exception, home to a small family of these deer whom search the forest for food - sometimes found along the trails that wind through the Park.
