Mallard Ducks are some of the most prominent species seen in Stanley Park. Recognizable by the dulled colour of the females, such as the ones in the photo above, to ensure camouflage during the nesting season, and the bright colours associated with the males which includes the bright green feathered head, brown and white body with an indigo strip on their wings.
