E. Pauline Johnson was a famous poet and writer who was half Aboriginal and half European. Her works bridged the gap between two different ethnicities and enticed people to look at nature as a cherished being instead of a tool. Her poems inspired the name for the Lost Lagoon at the edge of Stanley Park.
