Entrance to Centennial Museum, Vancouver

Image from Vancouver Museum activity in Things to do in Vancouver

The entrance to the Centennial Museum serves both the Vancouver Museum and the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre.

A futuristic approach to viewing Vancouver in its many meanings, the Centennial Museum home to the Vancouver Museum and the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is built to mimic the woven basket hats worn by Northwest Coast First Nations. Continuing in this theme, the large artwork that doubles as an art feature, the Crab, is a complicated metal structure paying tribute to an popular creature in the ocean beyond the Museums. The Museums in Vanier Park offer great learning experiences and fun for all ages.
