Inside Cooperage at Fort Langley National Historic Site, Fort Langley

Image from Fort Langley National Historic Site activity in Things to do in Langley

Visitors to Fort Langley can visit the Cooperage building which was were barrels were built to store and ship products from the new world.

The Cooperage was where barrels were built to store salmon, cranberries, farm produce and other goods. The original Cooperage building (located slightly further north) was taken down in the late 1860s.
