Stanley Park's Lost Lagoon has become a bird utopia, offering food, shelter and a home for hundreds of bird species, both small and large, water loving and not. Great Blue Herons stay in the Lagoon throughout the year wading in the waters for fish or flying to the coastline for other food sources. This Heron, on the edge of Lost Lagoon is typical of those seen in the region.
