The Capilano Fish Hatcheries is the largest of the many found in the Vancouver region, and it has become an educational experience to show the public the fish in this ecosystem and how the hatcheries are helping fish overcome man made obstacles such as the Cleveland Dam which made spawning difficult for the many species of Salmon dependent on its previous route.
