The Old Burner at Barnet Marine Park is a remnant from the area's early settlers who used the area as a small settlement and mill which took trees from the surrounding area and mountains and used the adjoining waterway to move finished products to the main ports. The remnants of the old mill now stands as a testament to the village that once occupied the area.
