The English Bay Inukshuk on a peninsula in Vancouver's West End neighbourhood was a gift to the city in 1987 after the 1986 World Expo. This popular Vancouver landmark is seen in many distributed photos of this West Coast city and the inukshuk continues to be a symbol of Canada as it has captured the imagination of the nation.
