Prairie Valley Station was built as a permanent station for the Kettle Valley Steam Railway and houses a gift shop, washrooms and a collection of artifacts.

The journey on the Kettle Valley Steam Railway begins at Prairie Valley Station - located 6 kilometres west of Summerland's city centre. Inside, riders can buy tickets, see displays with artifacts and peruse the gift shop.
