Spring months in Stanley Park's Lost Lagoon sees its populations explode from birds returning from winter migration and those starting families in its waters such as this Mallard female.

Spring in Lost Lagoon brings many new arrivals to its waters such as these mallard ducklings. May sees most of the newly hatched birds learning to swim and following their proud mothers as they tour around their new home.
