LuckLucky Centennial Plaque at Crab Park, Vancouver

Image from Crab Park at Portside activity in Things to do in Downtown Vancouver

The area that is now Crab Park was once known as LuckLucky, a native word for 'Grove of Beautiful Trees'.

On the one hundredth celebration of the inception of Vancouver, the city created dozens of plaques to celebrate parts of its history - one plaque can be found in Crab Park at Portside celebrating its native name Lucklucky - translated as 'Grove of Beautiful Trees'.
