With its large fish population, the seasons see dozens of fishing enthusiasts on its shores catching a picnic meal or having fun. The most southerly shores of Browning Lake in Murrin Provincial Park along the Sea to Sky Highway is not frequented by swimmers due to its murky and muddy bottom leaving it a prime area for people fishing.
