The Prickly Pear Cactus is Canada's most common Cactus found across Alberta's badlands, the interior of British Columbia and on some of the dry regions of the Gulf Islands. Found in great abundance in Canada's desert near Osoyoos, British Columbia, visitors can see these beautiful plants bloom in early summer.
