Piggy the Snowy Owl at the OWL Rehabilitation Centre, Delta

Image from OWL (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehabilitation Centre activity in Things to do in Delta and Point Roberts

Piggy is one of three resident Snowy Owls at the OWL Rehabilitation Centre.

Piggy (named for his veracious appetite)and his cage mates Serenity and Kermit are the three Snowy Owls which live at the OWL Rehabilitation Centre. Piggy and Serenity were hit by airplanes while Kermit was struck by a car. All three cannot be released back to the wild but are well cared for and some of the most beautiful Birds of Prey in the world.
