Sarah the Barn Owl at the OWL Rehabilitation Centre, Delta

Image from OWL (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehabilitation Centre activity in Things to do in Delta and Point Roberts

Sarah the Barn Owl is one of several educational birds at the OWL Rehabilitation Centre and teaches visitors about the work and her species.

Sarah the Barn Owl arrived at the OWL Rehabilitation Centre in 2007. She was born and bred into captivity and cannot be released into the wild due to her dependence on humans. Sarah is an educational bird who can be seen at the Centre or on trips to various schools and other locations to teach people about her (Barn Owls are endangered) and the work done at the Centre.
