The Georgia Strait, running between mainland British Columbia and Vancouver Island is a multi-use waterway. Offering harbour for ships and barges as well as 'parking' for many ships loading and unloading in the Burrard Inlet, evidence of these uses can be seen just off the cliff edges along the Pacific Spirit Regional Park. Offering panoramic views and a beautiful natural setting, the Park's generational heritage and continued preservation is one of the city's greatest legacies.
