This bronze statue by sculptor J. Steward Johnson Jr. is a popular fixture at this scenic lookout atop the highest point in Queen Elizabeth Park. Visitors to the Park pose with the three figures, the couple and the older lady fixing her hair, or the photographer - with the mountains in the background, it is hard to miss this interesting and panoramic photo opportunity. These statues had their own adventures when the statue at the far right was stolen by an unknown party, probably due to the high value of the bronze they were cast in. However, the statue (and the other plaques stolen) were recovered months after the crime.
