The techniques of hybridization have created many new species of Rhododendrons that would have otherwise taken a long time to be created naturally. Ted & Mary Greig spent years creating new species which were donated to Stanley Park. Many are a single or two colours and they all share a their beautiful blooms with passerby throughout the spring and summer months.
