Rhododendron Plant Beside Cedar Tree

Image from Ted and Mary Greig Rhododendron Garden activity in Things to do in Stanley Park

An example of one of the dual coloured Rhododendron plants in Stanley Park, a pink and white combination.

The techniques of hybridization have created many new species of Rhododendrons that would have otherwise taken a long time to be created naturally. Ted & Mary Greig spent years creating new species which were donated to Stanley Park. Many are a single or two colours and they all share a their beautiful blooms with passerby throughout the spring and summer months.
