Richmond has sent several of its residents to wars and many who returned were highly decorated and recognized for their sacrifices to the City and Canada.

The Richmond Museum has an exhibit with photos, information, stories and artifacts focusing on the City's contributions to wars and its residents which fought for the liberties Canadians enjoy today.
