One of the Richmond Oval's features is its large pond located on the building's eastern side is not only a water feature but also collects all rainwater which collects on the roof of the Oval. The fountain which creates a large oval under the surface of the pond also serves a dual purpose as an art piece and to re-oxygenate the water.
