Pond and Water Art in Water at Richmond Oval, Richmond

Image from Richmond Olympic Oval activity in Things to do in Richmond

The Richmond Oval uses elements reminiscent of BC's Native American culture such as its heron wing wood roof, water features and native plants.

One of the Richmond Oval's features is its large pond located on the building's eastern side is not only a water feature but also collects all rainwater which collects on the roof of the Oval. The fountain which creates a large oval under the surface of the pond also serves a dual purpose as an art piece and to re-oxygenate the water.
