The West Vancouver Fishing Wharf in Ambleside Park offers a long dock into the Burrard Inlet which allows for fishing and crabbing.

This seagull is waiting for its potential next meal. Fishermen (and women) line the pier throughout the year looking for local species to catch and eat. Crabbing is also a popular pastime, which also equal large evening meals.
