For vehicles arriving in Squamish from the south, two sights await: firstly, Stawamus Chief, a large sheer cliff mountain with some of the best hiking and climbing trails in the area. Second, Shannon Falls. These falls rising 335 meters above the Sea to Sky Highway create a cascade of water from the glaciers of Mount Habrich above. Park visitors can hike to the viewpoint to see these magnificent falls crash to the rocks below.
