Image from Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden activity in Things to do in Chinatown Vancouver

Opened on April 24, 1986 for the upcoming World Expo, the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Gardens is an authentic Ming Dynasty Garden.

In Vancouver's Chinatown District, in its south-western corner is the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Gardens, an inspirational Ming Dynasty Garden which was built by a team of craftsmen from Japan and their Canadian counterparts. This sign marks the entrance into these beautiful gardens which emphasize the heritage of the surrounding Chinatown and its role in shaping the Vancouver of today.
