Spider Crabs are some of the many species of crabs found along British Columbia's West Coast.

Crabbing is a popular activity on the Belcarra Pier - only the Red Rock and Dungeness species are allowed to be eaten but sometimes stowaways get into the crab pots such as this Spider Crab.
