Steam Clock in Summer Daylight, Gastown

Image from Steam Clock activity in Things to do in Gastown

The Gastown Steam Clock in the Summer months is a popular tourist attraction both day and night with large groups of tourists on tour buses stopping to snap pictures and watch the hourly show.

The Summer brings the largest volume of tourists to this rare Steam Clock, built in 1977 by Ray Saunders which sits in Vancouver's Gastown District. This rare and one of a kind clock still keeps hourly time with its Westminster tune echoing through the streets eve after forty years.
