Summer Snow on Blackcomb Mountain Hiking Trails, Whistler

Blackcomb Mountain in the summer months is best known for its fantastic hiking trails and summer skiing avaliable until late August.

The peak of Blackcomb Mountain in summer is accessible by foot or bus or the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. The lifts taking visitors up Blackcomb don't open until late summer because of the snow on the mountain (Blackcomb is higher than its counterpart which supports skiing in the warmer months), however, there are many opportunities for snowball fights as well.
