Forested Pathway in the UBC Botanical Gardens, Vancouver

Image from UBC Botanical Gardens activity in Things to do at UBC Campus

The UBC Botanical Gardens rely on both designed and wild growth to teach visitors about the plants found in Vancouver.

The South Garden in the UBC Botanical Gardens is a wilder garden focusing on native species which grow in the West Coast. Towering trees over shelter for birds, including eagles which can be seen perched on the trees above. The wood chip pathways offer a low impact walk through the vast southern gardens.
