The Corn Maze in Meadows Maze occupies 17 acres of farmland and has a different theme every year which can be seen from above.
Meadows Maze utilizes many different activities to make it one of the late summer and early fall's biggest attractions in Pitt Meadows. The farm sprawls over the corn fields of which the maze is located within, cranberry fields, a petting zoo with dozens of animals such as alpaca, donkeys, highland cows, chickens, pigs, goats, ducks and even a turkey. The maze also includes several different rides such as the corn train which takes riders through a small portion of the maze, the barrel train with several cow painted barrels tugged through the corn maze and under Meadow Mountain and lastly, the hayride which takes riders along the cranberry fields. Meadow Mountain offers a long slide for children to enjoy.
One of the attraction's most interesting activities is its Corn Cannon. Rigged up to a high pressure tank, visitors pay an additional fee for three shots. Once loaded with corn, visitors can shoot corn from the barrel into the painted targets. This is hands down probably the most fun activity for adults at Meadows Maze.
The Corn Maze is undoubtedly Meadows Maze's biggest draw - with several kilometres of pathways, the Maze spans several acres and is redesigned every year with a different theme. From 2000, Meadows Maze has built animals, landmarks and themes into its fields drawing thousands of people annually to search the maze for specially placed stamps to gather. The maze itself is created using a Global Positioning System to map out the design and carve it into the 17 acre newly planted corn field with a tractor.
With its beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, Meadow Maze provides an interesting place to enjoy the British Columbian countryside with many different activities to enjoy and places to explore.
