The Richmond Country Farm has been a part of the agricultural heritage of the Richmond region for decades. Offering a locale for visitors to find dozens of varieties of locally grown vegetables and fruits, plants, seeds and the renowned Pumpkin Patch in October, it is a popular place from Spring to early Winter. Hayrides, pumpkins, hoedowns and farm animals during the pumpkin season create a friendly atmosphere and locally grown produce avaliable at the market make it easy to enjoy this interesting marketplace, drawing hundreds of visitors daily throughout most of the year.

This vibrant market located on the edge of the Steveston Highway and the 99 offers some of the regions best produce ranging from fruits and vegetables to eggs as well as plants and flowers.

Open from the April to late December, Richmond Country Farms provides its shoppers with premium locally grown foods from the small family farms throughout Richmond as well as others ranging from nearby Langley to as far away as the Okanagan. The market's bountiful crates offer several varieties of different fruits and Fall offers wagon loads of corn to pick from - even cooking up and serving up fresh ears to shoppers.

The spectacular deals and the allure of buying locally brings hundreds of patrons daily looking for fresh foods for the dinner table. Not all the stock is local - interested people can try out any range of tropical fruits from oranges to bananas and even coconuts.

Local gardeners and floral enthusiasts can browse through dozens of plants for their own gardens and visitors can buy a bouquet of seasonal flowers throughout most of the year.

One of Richmond Country Farm's own crops allows visitors a first hand look at the farm itself. Opening from mid-October, families and people of all ages descend on the farm to hunt for the perfect pumpkin. The Pumpkin Patch at Richmond Country farms allows visitors to take a short sing-a-long hayride through decorated fields, along animal enclosures and to a wide open field with an adjoining corn maze to find a Halloween Pumpkin. Once found, visitors can lug their prize back to the pickup location and enjoy the various activities throughout the farm such as animal petting, hoedowns with the farm mascots Polly Pumpkin, Strawberry Shortcake and Korny Corn.
